The Annual Fund provides a way for every member of the community to support the mission of The Crefeld School. Annual giving is the most valuable kind of support because it is unrestricted for current use. It helps sustain faculty salaries, supports academic and extracurricular activities, provides financial aid to Crefeld students, and helps keep our technology up to date. It also affords the school the flexibility to meet special needs and opportunities as they arise.

Matching Gifts

Matching Gifts can double or triple the value of your gift. Many companies match the philanthropic contributions of their employees to independent schools. Obtain a form for a Matching Gift Request from your company's personnel or human resources office, fill out the portion to be completed by the donor, and mail the form to the School along with your gift.

 

Appreciated Securities

A gift of appreciated securities (stocks, bonds, and mutual funds) can offer the joy of helping others while being a tremendous financial planning tool for a donor, since income taxes are reduced by the charitable donation and there is no capital gains tax on the appreciation. Securities can easily be transferred electronically by your broker to the Crefeld account. Please call Joan Giannobile at 215-242­-5545, ext. 304, to learn how to transfer securities to Crefeld.

 

City of Philadelphia Employees Combined Campaign

The Crefeld School is registered with the City of Philadelphia Employees Combined Campaign. If you work for the city, please consider donating to Crefeld. Our code is 30-0063 . Just enter, 30-0063, as your chosen charity to support when you fill out your annual paperwork.
